The first ten minutes
What actually happens between arriving and the music starting.
Arrive at the church
Look for the welcome team near the main entrance. They will show you in, not just point.
Say hello at the desk
Tell them it is your first time. Someone will walk you in and sit with you if you would like.
Settle your children
If you would like to, sign your children into their group. They are handed back only to you.
Find a seat
Sit anywhere. Near the back is completely fine and nobody will think anything of it.
Straight answers
Questions people actually ask
What time should I arrive?
Ten minutes early is perfect. Someone from the welcome team will meet you at the door and help you find a seat.
How long is the service?
About three hours, including worship, the message, and prayer. You are free to slip out at any point if you need to.
What do people wear?
Anything you are comfortable in. You will see suits and kabas, and you will see jeans, sometimes in the same row.
What happens with my children?
Children are welcome to stay with you in the service, or to join their own group. They are only ever handed back to the adult who brought them.
Will I be singled out?
No. We will not ask you to stand, to introduce yourself, or to give. Come, sit, and watch as long as you like.
How do I find you?
Message us on WhatsApp and we will send you directions, a landmark, and someone's number for the day you come.
Still have a question?
Ask us anything before you come — about accessibility, your children, or anything else. A real person will reply.
